Privacy Policy for Beestocked

Beeinked Software ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Beestocked mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use the App.

Beestocked is intended for business use only.

2.1 Personal Information

• Company or studio name

2.2 Business Data

• Inventory items and stock levels
• Job details and due dates
• Supplier and stock order information

2.3 Device Information

• Device type and model
• Operating system and version
• App version
• Basic diagnostic and crash information
• Push notification token (if you grant permission)

2.4 Usage and Analytics Data

We collect anonymised usage data to understand how the App is used and to improve it. This includes:

• Screens viewed and features used
• In-app feedback ratings and messages you submit voluntarily
• Support ticket messages you submit via the App
• Timing of actions (e.g. slow API requests) for performance monitoring

Analytics events are associated with your tenant identifier, not your personal name or email address.

2.5 Subscription and Billing Data

Subscription purchases are processed by Apple via the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment card details. We receive a subscription status token from Apple (via RevenueCat) to verify that your subscription is active.

3. Authentication and Account Access

Users authenticate via Auth0 using a secure PKCE flow. Authentication is handled by Auth0 in accordance with their own privacy and security practices. We store authentication tokens securely on your device using encrypted storage.

4. Push Notifications

If you grant permission, the App registers a push notification token with our servers and may send notifications such as low stock alerts, expiry warnings, and job due reminders. Notifications are delivered via Expo's push notification service. You can disable notifications at any time via your device settings.

6. Data Storage and Security

Your business data is stored on servers in the United Kingdom. Analytics data is processed by PostHog on servers within the European Union. We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data and restrict access to authorised personnel only.

7. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services to operate. Each processes data strictly for the purpose stated and under their own privacy policies and data protection obligations:

• Auth0 — user authentication and identity management
• Apple App Store — subscription purchase processing and payment handling
• RevenueCat — subscription status verification and management
• PostHog (EU) — anonymised product analytics and feedback collection
• Expo — push notification delivery

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any other third parties.

8. Subscriptions and Billing

Beestocked is available via a paid subscription purchased through the Apple App Store. All payment processing is handled by Apple — we do not receive or store your payment card details.

Subscription management (including cancellation) is done through your Apple ID account settings. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.

9. Data Retention

We retain your data only as long as necessary to provide the service and comply with legal obligations. Upon account deletion, your personal data and business data are permanently removed from our systems. Push notification tokens are deleted as part of account deletion. Anonymised analytics data may be retained for product analysis purposes.

10. Your Rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, and export your data, and to restrict or object to certain processing. You can also delete your account directly within the App (Settings → Delete account), which immediately removes your data from our systems. For other requests, email privacy@beeinked.co.

11. Children's Privacy

Beestocked is intended for business users and is not designed for or directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be published on beeinked.co and the "Last updated" date will be revised. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
